Delivery days/times are our usual freight delivery under normal circumstances. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee delivery due to circumstances beyond our control. We have selected quality freight companies to ensure you get the best service possible.
DELIVERY TIMES AND ADDRESS
We have selected couriers that use a network system to ensure you pay absolute minimum rates. They cannot, however, do deliveries at specific times and will deliver them in their normal runs.
If the recipient is not home, the courier may leave the parcel in a safe and secure place unless stated by the Customer otherwise. If we are not given this authority and the recipient is not home a calling card will be left and the gift hamper will be taken to the couriers depot. A re-delivery fee will be charged to the recipient or they can arrange a pick up from the depot. You may also choose to have the gift hamper delivered to the recipients place of work, which we have found, can alleviate the chance of extra delivery charges.
Please ensure all address details and phone numbers are correct at time of purchase as once the gift hamper is on board with the couriers, the address details cannot be changed. And a re-delivery charge will be passed on to the recipient.
Delays may be experienced that, unfortunately are out of our control. This is why we cannot accept responsibility for unforeseen circumstances and as such will not refund or cancel orders as a result.
SUBSTITUTION OF CONTENTS
On occasions we may sold out a particular content in the gifts. In such occurrences, we will substitute the content with another similar item at equal or greater value.
SUMMER SEASON SUGGESTION
During the Australian summer season (November to January) we do not recommend shipping hampers with perishable goods, such as chocolate and suggest that you ask for our non-perishable version of any of our hampers to ensure that your recipient thoroughly enjoys the goodies. Any hamper going outside of Sydney during hot weather will be automatically substituted with other sweet items to avoid the melting of chocolate and your recipient’s disappointment (unless you specify)
Under the liquor licencing act section 6(1)(I) of the Liquor Act, Basketville is exempt from the need to hold a liquor licence in limited circumstances. For full conditions, visit here
Liquor Act offences still apply where liquor is supplied to minors. Maximum court penalties of $5,500 apply ($550 penalty notice) apply for this offence. WARNING: Under the Liquor Act it is an offence: To supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years and for a person under the age of 18 years to receive or purchase liquor.
CREDIT CARD NUMBERS
Credit Card details are securely collected via eWay or PayPal. We do not hold any details in our website.
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars and include GST (unless purchased by overseas customers). Orders will not be sent until payment in full has been received and funds are cleared, and subject to the availability of the item.
RETURNS, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
Please contact us via email or phone before attempting to return any items. If you receive a faulty product please let us know immediately. All claims must be received by Basketville in writing within 48 hours of receipt of goods.
Goods remain the property of Basketville until paid in full.
If for any reason items need to be substituted prior to delivery of your order, Basketville will replace them with items of equal or greater value. Any significant substitutions that would alter the look or theme of the hamper will be discussed with you prior.
CANCELLATION OF ORDERS
If you need to cancel an order, please contact us immediately via email or phone. Once we have accepted payment for an order, cancellation of the order is within our sole discretion.
A deposit of 50% of the total price must be paid for Custom and bulk orders before work will commence. Full terms are available during quotation.
We reserve the right not to provide goods or services, terminate membership accounts, remove or edit content or cancel orders (or part thereof) at our sole discretion at any time. We will not be held liable for loss or damage arising from the exercising of these rights.
Basketville cannot be held liable for injuries, illness, loss or damage sustained by the use of any product we distribute or for the use of our website, affiliates or website links. It is the user’s responsibility to make sure that the products are suitable for their particular requirements.
